Shock to KKR before the big match, wrong gesture was costly, BCCI imposed ban on star bowler, action of match referee

Kolkata. Kolkata Knight Riders, who are in the race for the Indian Premier League 2024 playoffs, got bad news after their win against Delhi Capitals. One match suspension on team’s fast bowler Harshit Rana for violating the IPL code of conduct in the seven-wicket win over Delhi. The match referee has fined him 100 percent of the match fee.

In the last match, Rana had to pay a fine of 60 percent of his match fee for kissing Sunrisers Hyderabad batsman Mayank Agarwal in the air after his dismissal. He almost repeated the same action when Abhishek Porel’s wicket fell against Delhi. He gestured towards Porel to return to the pavilion and stopped after giving a flying kiss gesture. Harshit Rana was involved in the no ball controversy of former Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli. There was a lot of controversy after the third umpire gave him out on his ball.
