Maharashtra government opened the treasury for 4 players of its state who returned after winning the World Cup. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has announced a cash reward of Rs 11 crore. The announcement was made at Vidhan Bhawan in Mumbai where Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dubey were honoured.
In his speech, Chief Minister Shinde praised the brilliant catch taken by Suryakumar Yadav in the final match against South Africa. Rohit Sharma also mentioned this catch, but in his own unique style.
