Tahira said that the idea behind the film ‘Sharmaji Ki Beti’ was to show that such women also exist in the society and they should not be kept in the same box. She said that women directors and women writers can make a difference while telling stories.
Tahira Kashyap believes that if there are enough women in front of and behind the camera, then things like women writers and women directors will become unnecessary. Regarding his film, he hopes that its story will force people to think.
