How to make onion and tamarind chutney? (How to make Onion and Tamarind Chutney?)
1. Turn on the gas and heat oil in a pan on medium flame. Now add chopped onion to this oil and fry it until it turns golden brown.
2. When the onion turns golden brown, add tamarind paste, 1/2 cup water, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin, 1/4 teaspoon ground coriander, salt as per taste, 1-2 dry red Add chillies and mix them well.
3. Now let them cook till they boil. When it boils, reduce the flame of the gas and cook for 10-15 minutes or until the chutney thickens.
4. Turn off the gas after 15 minutes. Your spicy tamarind chutney is ready. Take it off the gas and let it cool.
5. You can also store this chutney. When the chutney cools down, fill it in an airtight container and keep it in the refrigerator for 1 week.
