Where is this 3D printed hotel being built?
The name of this hotel is El Cosmico, which is being built on the outskirts of Marfa city in Texas. It is spread over 40 acres. 43 hotel units and 18 residential plots are also being built in it, all of which are 3D printed. Liz Lambert, owner of El Cosmico, says, ‘This is the only 3D printed hotel in the world. It is being made jointly by 3D printing company ICON and architectural company Bjarke Ingels Group.
The look of this hotel is cylindrical
The owner of the hotel told that this hotel is more beautiful than his imagination. The single story has 12 feet walls, its first two units are being prepared, which have 3 bedrooms and single room hotel unit. It is of beige colour, on which the 3D printed work is being done by ICON company. A 46.5 feet wide, 15.4 feet high and 4.75 tonne 3D printer is being installed in it. ICON company is doing this work in collaboration with Vulcan. The look of this hotel is cylindrical. It looks very spectacular in the pictures that have surfaced.
When will it be ready?
