Apart from Rameez, former veteran fast bowler of Pakistan cricket team Shoaib Akhtar said in the live session that he had already predicted the result. But he also admitted that this defeat against England has lowered the morale of the entire country.

Akhtar sarcastically took a dig at the players and said that they are “fish out of water”. The current team has failed to inspire our next generation.

Basit Ali has described the defeat in Multan as a “shameless defeat”. He believes that un-Islamic practices are taking place in the team. Because of that the team is facing defeat.

Elaborating on the reason behind the team’s poor performance, the former cricketer said that all this happened because the PCB was doing everything which is forbidden in Islam.
