Rameez Raja said during a special conversation in his show ‘Rameez Speaks’, “I have never seen such a horrific situation before.” The team’s performance is on the decline. To keep the Pakistan cricket team alive, a psychologist, a miracle and a comprehensive change are needed.
Apart from Rameez, former veteran fast bowler of Pakistan cricket team Shoaib Akhtar said in the live session that he had already predicted the result. But he also admitted that this defeat against England has lowered the morale of the entire country.
Akhtar sarcastically took a dig at the players and said that they are “fish out of water”. The current team has failed to inspire our next generation.
The 49-year-old former cricketer said, “The current group of players does not have the ability to withstand pressure. Teams like England have a structure. He has a natural way. Through which they are reaching the top. Those who ate pulses and gram here got bread.
Basit Ali has described the defeat in Multan as a “shameless defeat”. He believes that un-Islamic practices are taking place in the team. Because of that the team is facing defeat.
Elaborating on the reason behind the team’s poor performance, the former cricketer said that all this happened because the PCB was doing everything which is forbidden in Islam.
