A loud sound was heard after a petrol bomb was thrown in Tati Bazaar area of ​​Dhaka. After this the attackers fled from the spot. A video related to the incident has been shared on the social media account named ‘Voice of Bangladesh Hindu’. In this, an injured person is shown being taken to the hospital. According to the information shared, the blast took place in the puja pavilion located at Tati Bazaar, where a grand puja was organised.

Puja committee president Ashish Bhattacharya spoke to news agency ANI over phone. Regarding the matter, he told that we were busy welcoming guests. Some people started singing Islamic songs. The administration will take legal action against them. Police said they are investigating the incident.
