Amidst the fighting with Hamas, the Israeli army had given a 24-hour ultimatum to the people of Palestine to vacate Northern Gaza. The IDF had said on Friday that the people of Gaza should move to the southern part of the Gaza Strip for their safety. Meanwhile, Israel Defense Force has claimed that Hamas is stopping Palestinian citizens from moving from Northern Gaza to Southern Gaza. Meanwhile, the death toll in Gaza has reached 2215. These include 724 children.
The Israeli Defense Force tweeted, “We have evidence that Hamas is erecting roadblocks to prevent Palestinian civilians from moving from northern to southern Gaza. “Hamas takes pride in harming civilians and is responsible for every civilian harm.”
Israel had instructed 11 lakh people of Northern Gaza to vacate the area, due to which there is an atmosphere of chaos there. Regarding this, the United Nations had also said that a very serious situation could arise due to such a large scale movement of people to Southern Gaza. After this, the IDF issued a statement to the people of Gaza saying, ‘You will return to the city only when the next statement is issued and you will be allowed to enter the city. Hamas terrorists are hiding inside the tunnels built in the houses of Gaza city and the houses of innocent people of Gaza. For the safety of yourself and your family, move to the southern part of Gaza City and keep your family away from the Hamas terrorists who are using you as a shield.
