Mumbai left arm spinner Iqbal Abdullah has announced his retirement from all formats of cricket. Iqbal Abdullah has said goodbye to cricket at the age of 33. All-rounder Abdullah also played in the IPL for Royal Challengers Bangalore under the captaincy of Kohli. He was also a part of the teams of Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders. Apart from Mumbai, Abdullah also played for Mizoram, Sikkim, Kerala and Uttarakhand in domestic cricket.
Excellent performance in domestic cricket
Talking about Iqbal Abdullah’s career, he took 220 wickets in 71 first-class matches at an average of 29.17, apart from this he also scored 2641 runs at 32.20. In 98 List A matches, he took 131 wickets at an average of 27.47, besides scoring 1196 runs at 20.98, and in 104 T20s, he took 86 wickets at an average of 27.33, while scoring 426 runs at 17.04. Abdullah was part of Mumbai’s three Ranji Trophy-winning teams in 2009–10, 2012–13 and 2015–16. He was also a member of the RCB team that reached the 2016 IPL final.

I am blessed with loving family and friends who have stood by me through every moment of my time. Hanging up shoes is never easy but everything has its time.
