Dhaka. A major train accident occurred in Bangladesh on Monday. According to the information, there was a massive collision between two trains. Due to which there was chaos. At least 15 people have died in this incident, while more than 100 have been injured.
The incident occurred in Bhairab, about 80 kilometers (50 mi) from the capital Dhaka. Here a goods train collided with a passenger train. Local police officer Sirajul Islam said the death toll could increase. The rescue operation is going on.

Officials said that the accident occurred at around 4.15 pm local time when the passenger train (Egaro Sindhur Train) coming from Kishoreganj to Dhaka was hit from behind by a goods train. News portal BDNews24 quoted a police officer at Bhairab railway station as saying that bodies of 13 people have been found so far. The news portal said many people were trapped in the damaged coaches.
