Russia-Ukraine War: Ukraine has claimed that due to a disease, Russian soldiers are losing their ability to fight. In this disease, people start bleeding from their eyes, have severe headache and also vomit several times a day. The Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine has informed about the spread of so-called ‘mouse fever’ among the units of Russian soldiers in Kupyansk.
This disease is a type of streptococcal (a type of bacteria) infection and it spreads to humans through direct contact with rats or breathing around their feces. “Several symptoms of the disease include severe headache, body temperature rising to 40 degrees, rashes and redness, low blood pressure, bleeding from the eyes, nausea and vomiting several times a day,” Ukraine said.
‘Russia ignored’
Ukraine claimed that Russian soldiers had complained about the disease to their commanders but their complaints were ignored. According to Sky News, mouse fever is making soldiers sick on a large scale in the Kupyansk direction in front of the occupiers. Because of which the Russians are in no position to fight the war. Ukraine has claimed that Russia is not taking the disease seriously and is considering it as an excuse for its troops to avoid war.
When will the war stop?
It has been 22 months since the Russia-Ukraine war. Ukraine has accused Russia of not responding to talks to stop the war. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, “For us the idea of negotiations is not relevant.” He said, “We have reiterated many times that these talks have no basis. There will be peace only when we achieve our goals.”
