Australia’s one more wicket fell, Warner out on 34 runs, game stopped due to rain

Sydney: David Warner was out after scoring 34 runs in the first innings of his farewell Test match while Australia scored 34 runs against Pakistan at tea on the second day of the third and final Test cricket match here on Thursday. Till rest 116 runs were scored for two wickets. Tea break was taken earlier due to rain.

Pakistan had scored 313 runs in its first innings and thus Australia is still 197 runs behind it. Marnus Labuschagne was playing on 23 and Steve Smith was playing on 6 when the game was stopped due to bad light and rain. Warner, playing his 112th and final Test match, was caught by Babar Azam standing at first slip on the ball of Agha Salman. Australia had scored 78 runs for one wicket till lunch.

After this, he also lost the wicket of opener Usman Khawaja (47) in the second session, who was caught by wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan on the ball of Aamer Jamal. Warner will still have a chance to bat in the fourth innings of the match. When he was playing on 20 runs, he was caught by Sam Ayub in the slip. However, Warner could not take advantage of this and score a big score.
