9 films and only one hit in two and a half years
The budget of Akshay Kumar’s Sarfir is said to be around Rs 80 crore while the film is not able to progress at the box office. The film seems to be failing at the box office within three days. If Akshay Kumar has given only one hit in nine years and that is 2023’s OMG 2. Otherwise he has failed. In 2022, Akshay Kumar has given flop films like Bachchan Pandey, Samrat Prithviraj, Raksha Bandhan and Ram Setu. Selfie, OMMG 2 and Mission Raniganj were released in 2023. These films also failed at the box office. If we talk about 2024, till now Bade Miyan, Chote Miyan and Sarfira have been defeated.

Now even South remakes with Akshay Kumar are not working.
There was a time when Akshay Kumar used to wreak havoc at the box office with the remake of South. Be it Bhool Bhulaiya or Rowdy Rathore or Holiday. But now even South remakes are no longer a guarantee of success for Khiladi Kumar. That’s why films like Bachchan Pandey, Selfie and Sirfira have been seen demanding water at the box office. Bachchan Pandey was a remake of South’s hit film Jigartanda while Selfie was a remake of Driving License. The latest film Sarfira is a remake of Soorarai Pottru. In this way, not a single South remake of Akshay Kumar worked in two and a half years.

Akshay Kumar should desist from biopics
These days, Akshay Kumar is also trying his hand at biopic. Looking at his track record, it seems that he should avoid this because success is just not coming. If we talk about names in biopics, after Samrat Prithviraj and Mission Raniganj, now the name of a flop film has been added along with Sarfira. Akshay Kumar is not able to spare time for the kind of time and training required for a biopic. Perhaps that is why he is making mistakes on this front also.
