Elephant goes out for a walk with mahout amid rain, IAS officer shares adorable video of their loving relationship

For wildlife lovers, IAS officer Supriya Sahu shared a video that captured the “magical moment” between an elephant and its mahout. The 27-second clip was recorded by wildlife photographer Dhanu Paran at the Kozhikamuthi elephant camp in the Anamalai Tiger Hold in Tamil Nadu.

In the lush green picturesque camp, the mahout went out for a walk with the elephant on a rainy afternoon. While the mahout was walking on the path, the mahout was holding an umbrella and was caressing the huge elephant very lovingly. A mahout is an elephant rider, trainer or protector.

Supriya Sahu captioned the post, “A magical moment between a mahout and his elephant in the monsoon rain at Kozhikamuthi Elephant Camp in Anamalai Tiger Reserve, Tamil Nadu.” This captivating scene seems straight out of a movie that you will want to watch again and again.
