New Delhi: Actress Somi Ali, Salman Khan’s ex-girlfriend, took to Instagram to thank veteran actor Raj Kiran, who is famous for films like Karz and Arth. A long and detailed post has been shared for them. Raj Kiran has been missing for many years and no one knows anything about his whereabouts now. But in the year 2011, late actor Rishi Kapoor and actress Deepti Naval got the news of his being in Atlanta and that he was admitted in the Mental Health Institute. However this proved to be a rumour. But now actress Somi Ali, while sharing the picture montage, said that she will not stop searching for Raj Kiran because she has promised Rishi Kapoor.
Somi Ali wrote in the caption on Instagram, Friends, if anyone gives me valid information, he will also get a reward. There should be no fraud or scam. I had promised late Mr. Rishi Kapoor that I would never stop searching for actor Raj Kiran. I have spent 20 years trying to find them, traveling to several states on my own money and sometimes borrowing money from my mother. Just so that Chintu ji can sleep peacefully and I can fulfill my promise. Chintu ji and another actress also tried to find her, but could not do so. If any of you know his whereabouts please message me. Just to see if he’s okay and if he needs any help.
She further wrote, As a victim advocate and having run my own organization for 17 years, my heart has never given up and I just want to know if he is okay. We always wanted this and now I have to fulfill my promise. Raj Kiran Mahtani (born 5 February 1949) is a former Indian actor, known for his work in Bollywood. Born in a Sindhi family in Bombay, he studied under B.R. Made his debut in Ishara’s Kaagaz Ki Naav (1975) and appeared in over 100 films by the mid-90s. He later disappeared from the industry and was believed to be living as a recluse in the United States, but reports as of 2011 state that his whereabouts are unknown.
It is noteworthy that Somi Ali has been seen in films like Krishna Avatar, Aao Pyar Karein, Andolan, Yaar Gaddaar and Chup. Whereas there was a lot of talk about her being in a relationship with Salman Khan.
