Actress Isha Kopikar, who debuted in Bollywood with the film Fiza. He recently shared his casting couch experience. The actress said, I was 18 years old. When a secretary and an actor approached me for casting couch. He said that you have to be friendly with the actors for work. I am very friendly. But what does that friendly mean? I am so friendly that Ekta Kapoor once told me to keep a little attitude.
The actress further said, “When I was 23 years old, an A-list actor asked to meet me alone, without my driver or anyone else, because there were rumors about him having affairs with other actresses. He said, ‘There are already controversies about me, and the employees spread rumours.’ But I refused and told him that I could not come alone as he was an A-list actor of the Hindi film industry.
In an interview with Indian Express, Isha Kopikar said, “I called Hero, who asked to meet me alone. At that time, he was being accused of infidelity, so he asked me to leave his staff and meet him. Asked to meet.” Isha then said that she called the producer and told him that she was “selected because of talent and looks and if it can get me a good job, then that’s great.”
It is noteworthy that Isha Kopikar started her career as a model in the 90s. He has worked in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Marathi films. Some hit films include Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat, Hum Tum, Don, Darling and 36 China Town.
