New Delhi:
actress-producer Divya Khosla The war is going on with Jigra makers i.e. Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt. It started with an Instagram post, in which the actress accused Alia of manipulating the box office collection of her latest film Jigra. Whereas soon after this, the film’s producer Karan Johar shared a cryptic post in which he wrote, “Silence is the best answer for idiots.” Although he did not take anyone’s name. But this seemed to be a direct response to Divya’s allegations. But now Divya Khosla has responded to the director using derogatory language.
In an interview given to Hindustan Times, the actress said, today I say that Mr. Karan Johar has used derogatory language to silence me. Is it right to call a woman a fool for pointing out unethical practices? If this happens to me, what will happen to new people in this industry?”
She further said, there is no king here and I will not be treated like a subject. There are many derogatory words which have been used in their PR article. But my taking a stand was called a PR stunt. Excuse me. I don’t need it. I am very famous.
Let us tell you that before this, Divya Khosla has shared a photo of Halli Theater on her Insta story. The entire theater appears empty in this photo. While sharing the photo, he has also written a long caption. She writes, “Jigra went to City Mall PVR for the show. The theater was completely empty. Theaters are getting empty everywhere. Alia Bhatt really has a lot of Jigra. Buy the tickets yourself and release the fake box office collection. I regret why the paid media is silent till now.
