According to reports, the famous art director of the film industry Nitin Desai committed suicide on Wednesday morning at ND Studio in Mumbai. Nitin was famous worldwide as an actor, filmmaker, art designer, set designer and production designer. Nitin Desai had designed the sets of films like ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, ‘Lagaan’, ‘Devdas’, ‘Jodha Akbar’ and ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. He received the National Award for Best Art Direction four times.

According to police sources, Nitin Desai had gone to his room at 10 pm last night. He did not come out for a long time this morning.
