Mumbai: Shilpa Shetty ke ghar par Chori Mumbai Police has arrested two people for allegedly breaking into Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s house in Juhu here and stealing. An official gave this information on Thursday. Police said both the accused are habitual thieves, but what exactly was stolen from Shilpa’s house is yet to be ascertained as the actress is currently abroad.
Shilpa Shetty ke ghar par chori The police officer said, “The incident came to light when the maintenance manager of the actress’ bungalow ‘Kinara’ approached the police with a complaint of theft and trespassing. He said that according to the complaint, the bungalow was undergoing renovation and beautification work since late May and the actress had gone abroad with her family members on May 24.
“When the house maintenance manager reached the actress’s bungalow on June 6, he found things scattered in the hall, dining room and ‘master’ bedroom,” he said. The almirah in the bedroom of Shetty’s daughter was open and things were scattered.’ According to the police, the manager then looked at the CCTV installed in the bungalow. In one of the videos, an unidentified masked man was seen coming in through a window and trying to steal things.
The officer said that based on the complaint, an FIR has been registered under relevant sections of the IPC. He said, “The police scanned more than 70 CCTV cameras installed in and around Shetty’s bungalow and then zeroed in on the suspects. Based on the available evidence, two persons have been arrested from Vile Parle.” According to him, the police have arrested both and the investigation is on.
