This method of the times of sages is being liked not only in India but also by NRIs and foreigners living abroad. Panchakarma is one of the very old medical methods of Ayurveda. Panchakarma is also considered a special treatment of Ayurveda. Many types of diseases occurring in the body are treated with this method of Ayurveda. There are five methods in Panchakarma method, through which the toxins produced in the body are removed. This is a natural process of Ayurveda, in which the toxins produced daily in the body are removed.

Five actions of Panchakarma

Mahendra Rana explains that there are five procedures in Panchakarma, the first method is Vamana Karma, in which the patient is made to vomit by giving him decoction or medicinal drinks. The second method is Virechana Karma, in which the patient is given medicines to cure diarrhoea. There are two types of enema processes, which we call Basti Karma. In this method, patients are treated through Basti Anuvasana and Basti Asthapana Karma. Another method is Nasya Karma, in which Ayurvedic medicines are administered to patients through the nose. Patients suffering from blood pressure and heart disease cannot undergo Panchakarma. He says that just as treatment is done through Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines, in this way he treats skin and hair by using it externally through steam or oil, which gives good results.
