Make jaggery vermicelli for Eid

Eid Special Recipe: Ingredients

  • 200 grams vermicelli
  • 150 grams khoya
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 5-10 almonds
  • 6-8 cashews
  • Raisin
  • 100 grams jaggery
  • one teaspoon cardamom
  • Water

Eid Special Recipe: Method

  • Heat a pan and add 100 to 200 grams of jaggery in it.
  • As soon as the jaggery starts melting, add water little by little and keep mixing it continuously so that lumps do not form in it.
  • When the jaggery melts well, take it out in a vessel and leave it to cool.
  • Take another pan and add two spoons of ghee in it and then add cashew nuts, raisins, almonds and coconut and mix well. When everything is fried well, take them out and keep them in a vessel.
  • Put half a cup of ghee in a vessel and heat it, when the ghee gets heated well, add vermicelli in it and fry it well till it becomes golden brown.
  • Add jaggery to the roasted vermicelli and add dry fruits and khoya on top.
  • Cover the mixture and cook on medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes. Eid Your tasty and healthy recipe is ready.
  • Garnish with finely chopped dry fruits and serve.
