Wheat flour – 1 cup

sugar – one cup

Water – 4 cups

Cashew – 10

Almonds – 10

Pistachios – 8 to 10

Raisins – 10

Small cardamom (crushed) – 4 to 5
Method

First of all, put a cup of sugar in a vessel.

In the same cup, add water twice as much as sugar and turn on the gas and put the utensil on top of it.

– Heat it till it comes to a boil. We don’t want to make sugar syrup, so we have to heat only till the sugar melts.

Now put another pan on the gas and put a cup of flour in it and fry it. When the flour starts to smell a little, then take out the flour.

Now put two spoons of ghee in the same pan and add chopped cashews and almonds and fry them lightly.

– Will add flour to the same ghee and mix it. The flour has to be cooked in ghee on low flame for 7-8 minutes. Keep stirring it continuously to avoid burning. Cook it till it turns dark brown.

Then pour hot sugar water in it with one hand and keep stirring it.

– Cook it while rotating it for 1-2 minutes. After a while the water will dry up and become thick. After roasting for some more time, the halwa is ready. Now add one spoon of ghee and cook a little more.

Put pistachios, raisins, cashews and almonds on top of it and mix. Add cardamom for fragrance.
