Now eye operations will be done with modern Japanese machines in the Sadar Hospital located in Arrah of the district. For this, the machine is being ordered and assembled. For the first time, operation through laser will start from January 22. A 15-bed ward has also been prepared for eye patients. Initially 6 to 7 patients will be operated every day. After that the number of patients will be increased. Let us tell you that not a single eye operation has been done in Sadar Hospital for the last seven years. Now that this facility is going to be started, the patients of the district will benefit from it and their treatment money will also be saved.

ACMO of Sadar Hospital, Dr. KN Sinha said that after a long time, eye operation can now be done in Sadar Hospital. All resources are being made available for this. He told that from January 22, operations will start taking place in the eye ward here. Once the operation starts, the further plan is that operations should be conducted daily in Sadar Hospital, because a lot of eye patients come to Sadar Hospital.

There are three ophthalmologists in the district
It was told that three doctors are ophthalmologists in the district. Of these, Dr. SK Prasad and Rahul Kumar are posted at Sadar Hospital, while Dr. Sajiya is posted at Jagdishpur Hospital. At present, the District Health Department has only three EMERGE eye surgeons in 14 blocks including Sadar Hospital. Six months ago there was an eye surgeon in Sadar Hospital. On the initiative of the District Health Department, an eye surgeon has joined six months ago. The health department is also considering increasing more eye surgeons. Now arrangements for 15 beds including operation theater are being made in Sadar Hospital to keep the patients.
