Hina Khan posted a video of herself on Instagram late Monday night and shared a post with it, ‘I know about my cancer, but I have taken this conscious decision to normalize it (cancer) for myself and for the people. This was the day that changed everything, it marked the beginning of a challenging phase of my life. So let’s start it with some positivity.

Hina Khan further writes in this post, ‘We become what we believe in and I took this challenge as an opportunity to find and find myself again. What matters to me is my inspiration, passion and art. I refuse to give in. This award, which I received before going straight to the hospital for my first chemo, was not my courage and inspiration alone. Actually, I was able to take this decision because I wanted to live up to the standards set for myself. ,
