In the 11th century, Mustali sect made its place in India through religious preachers. After 1539, when its community grew larger in India, the headquarters of this sect was shifted from Yemen to Sidhpur in India. After this, in the year 1588 came the period when the Bohra community got divided among themselves due to the followers of Dawood bin Qutub Shah and Suleman. Although there was no significant difference in their religious principles.
