According to experts, Consumer Rights means the right to be informed about the quality, quantity, potency, purity, standard and price of the products so that the consumer can be protected from unfair trade practices.
Know these rights
1. Right to consumer education
Let us tell you, what rights you have got as a consumer, all these information are included in the rights of the consumer. Under which consumer associations, educational institutions as well as government policy makers play an important role in consumer education by informing each individual about the duties, responsibilities and relief available.
2. Right to choose
A customer has the full right to go to any shop and buy the goods as per his wish, for this the shopkeeper cannot force him to buy any kind of service or any product.

3. Right to be heard
If the shopkeeper misbehaves with the consumer or does any kind of injustice, then the consumer can lodge a complaint in the consumer court.
4. Right to solve problems
A consumer has the absolute right to not only lodge a complaint against the injustice done to him but also to get a timely solution.
5. Right to security
The right to security gives the consumer full right to his security. Under this right, no shopkeeper can give any thing to his customer whose quality is poor and which may cause any kind of loss to the customer in present or future. If any such item is given by the shopkeeper then you can get it replaced but if the shopkeeper refuses to replace the item then you can lodge a complaint against him.
