New Delhi. After the poor performance of the Pakistan cricket team in the World Cup 2023, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is in the mood for a ‘big operation’. Selection Committee Chairman Inzamam Ul Haq has already resigned. The entire selection committee was dismissed and the responsibility was given to new people. Captain Babar Azam also resigned. Amidst all this, PCB has taken a big decision and appointed former Australian cricketer Adam Holyoak as Pakistan’s batting coach.
Let us tell you that PCB has appointed Adim Holyoak as the coach for the 3-match Test series between Pakistan and Australia to be held next month. Pakistan team will now play a 3-match test series against Australia under the coaching of Adam Holyoak. Adeem will remain as the batting coach of Pakistan team’s Test team.
Who is Edim Holyoak?
Adam Hollioake’s international career started in 1996. Australian-born Adam Holyoake played for England. He also captained the English ODI team. Holyoak played 4 Tests and 35 ODI matches for England. Apart from this, Holyoke made the county team Surrey the county champion three times. He scored a total of 18 first class centuries in his career.
Coach who has been at many places
Holyoak is not going to coach a team for the first time. Before this, Adam Hollioake became the coach of Boost Defenders team in Afghanistan’s Shpageeza Cricket League in the year 2018. Holyoke was also appointed fielding coach of England Lions. Let us tell you that Holyoak played an MMA match in the year 2012 and he defeated his opponent. Pakistan team will play the test series against Australia from 14th December.
