Big blow to Mumbai Indians, wicketkeeper batsman out of tournament, match with RCB today

New Delhi. Just before the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, there has been a big change in the Mumbai Indians team. Mumbai Indians wicketkeeper batsman Vishnu Vinod is out of the tournament due to injury. The franchise has included Harvik Desai in its team in place of Vishnu Vinod.

Mumbai Indians are to face Royal Challengers Bangalore on Thursday in IPL 2024. This match is very important for both the teams. Both the teams have been able to win only one match each in the tournament so far. Bengaluru team is at ninth position in the points table and Mumbai is at 10th position.

Wicketkeeper batsman Vishnu Vinod of Mumbai Indians, who is running at the bottom in the points table, has been ruled out of IPL 2024 due to an arm injury. Mumbai Indians have included Saurashtra wicketkeeper Harvik Desai in his place.

24-year-old Harvik Desai was a member of the Indian team that won the Under-19 World Cup in 2018. He has centuries to his name in all three formats of cricket.
