India end the second session at 95/3 in Hyderabad Tea

Indian captain Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal opened for the host team chasing 231 runs. The openers made a good start with a partnership of 42 runs.
However, the young lad failed to stand up to Tom Hartley. The English bowler dismissed Yashasvi for 15 runs in the 12th over. The 22-year-old player played 35 balls and hit 2 fours.
Hartley’s flamboyant spell helped England dominate as he dismissed Shubman Gill for a duck on two balls, just one ball after Yashasvi’s dismissal.
Hartley ended captain Rohit’s innings in the 18th over. The 36-year-old scored 39 runs out of 58, he also hit 7 fours in the second session.
On the other hand, spinner Hartley shone on the fourth day and took three wickets in the second session.

As of now, Rahul and Axar will be hoping to put together a strong partnership to chase down the remaining 136 runs of the target.
Recalling the first session, Ollie Pope’s 196-run knock helped England take advantage as the visitors scored 420 runs at lunch on the fourth day in Hyderabad on Sunday. Meanwhile, India needed 231 runs to win the first test match.
The day started with Pope and Rehan Ahmed coming to the crease to begin the first session of the fourth day. Jasprit Bumrah provided the first success of the day when the Indian fast bowler dismissed Rehan Ahmed for 28 runs in the 83rd over.
As the session continued, Pope and Tom Hartley stood at the crease and kept batting to help England dominate the game.
However, in the 101st over, star Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was successful in breaking the strong 80-run partnership of Pope-Hartley. Ashwin dismissed Hartley for 34 runs.
After Hartley’s dismissal, England struggled to score runs and India’s bowling attack took full advantage of this. Ravindra Jadeja took his first wicket on the fourth day by dismissing Mark Wood for 0 runs in the 102nd over. The last wicket of the day went to Bumrah when he dismissed the dangerous Pope at the score of 196 runs in the 103rd over, ending England’s second innings at 420 runs.
