Bengaluru: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) started its camp before the Indian Premier League (IPL) but its star batsman Virat Kohli will join the team in the next few days. RCB has to play its first match in IPL against defending champion Chennai Super Kings on March 22.
Most of the domestic players have reached the camp under the guidance of new head coach Andy Flower and director of cricket Mo Babat. Captain Faf du Plessis and West Indies fast bowler Alzarri Joseph have also reached the camp. Kohli also did not play the five-match Test series against England due to paternity leave. A BCCI source said, “Kohli will arrive in the next few days.”
