New Delhi: The Pakistan High Commission on Saturday said it has given permission to the Indian Davis Cup team and its partners to travel to Islamabad for the World Group play-off matches. Visas have been issued to the staff. The matches are to be held in Islamabad on February 3 and 4.
The High Commission said, โNew โThe Pakistan High Commission in Delhi has issued visas to the Indian Davis Cup team along with the support staff to play the Davis Cup World Group-One Playoff match between Pakistan and India.โ
Let us tell you, after almost 60 years, the Indian team is going to Pakistan for the Davis Cup match. The World Group-1 match in Davis Cup between India and Pakistan is scheduled on 3 and 4 February in Islamabad. The International Tennis Federation had rejected the request to transfer this match to a third country
