Pakistan issues visa for Indian Davis Cup team, players will go to Pakistan after 60 years

New Delhi: The Pakistan High Commission on Saturday said it has given permission to the Indian Davis Cup team and its partners to travel to Islamabad for the World Group play-off matches. Visas have been issued to the staff. The matches are to be held in Islamabad on February 3 and 4.

The High Commission said, โ€œNew โ€œThe Pakistan High Commission in Delhi has issued visas to the Indian Davis Cup team along with the support staff to play the Davis Cup World Group-One Playoff match between Pakistan and India.โ€

Let us tell you, after almost 60 years, the Indian team is going to Pakistan for the Davis Cup match. The World Group-1 match in Davis Cup between India and Pakistan is scheduled on 3 and 4 February in Islamabad. The International Tennis Federation had rejected the request to transfer this match to a third country
