Chennai : ISRO Chairman in Tamil Nadu S. Somnath (ISRO Chairman S. Somnath) met Indian Chess Grandmaster R Praggnanandhaa on Monday. Along with this, Indian Chess Grandmaster R Praggnanand, who has brought glory to the country across the world, was also invited to visit Sriharikota.

Speaking on the occasion, Indian Chess Grandmaster R Praggnanandhan said, “We felt very proud to meet Somnath sir and it is a matter of great pride that he visited us. It is a matter of honor for us. We discussed about my journey and training and he invited me to Sriharikota. I am very excited for this. One day I will definitely go there.”

After the meeting, ISRO Chairman S. Somnath said that we are very proud of Pragananand’s achievement. He is currently ranked 15th in the world.
