Television superstar Rupali Ganguly joins BJP

Rupali Ganguly Has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). This news was confirmed at a press conference in New Delhi on 1 May. Speaking to the media, the Anupama star said, “I feel very honored to be here. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has influenced me a lot. I am a big fan of PM Modi. BJP is doing very good work and that is why I wanted to join BJP. I am very grateful to the party.”

Rupali Ganguly further said, “When I see this ‘Maha Yagya’ of development, I feel that I should also participate in it… I need your blessings and support, so that I can do whatever I do. I can do it right and well” Rupali joined the hands of Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of political leaders Vinod Tawde and Anil Baluni. The Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai actress joining the BJP party came months after meeting PM Modi.

In March, Rupali Ganguly revealed on her Instagram account that she met the PM, which was a fan girl moment. The actress wrote in the caption with the post, “I will never stop remembering that day and feeling excited about it! This was the day when my dream came true… I met our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji. This was truly a fan girl moment for me. For 14 years I probably shared the stage with him on such a big stage. That was really fun for me.

Rupali Ganguly is currently busy shooting for her show ‘Anupama’. His serial is one of the highest rated TV shows on Indian television. It remains at number one in the TRP chart every week. Her character Anupama is liked very much by all the viewers. However, the actress became famous with the comedy-drama show Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. This comedy show was telecast for the first time in 2004 and was stopped after just one and a half years. Sumeet Raghavan, Satish Shah and Deven Bhojani also played important roles in the show. Rupali had impressed everyone with her acting in many successful television serials. Which includes Baa Bahu Aur Baby, Parvarish – some sour, some sweet.
