Shami said this
When Mohammed Shami was asked about being selected for the Arjun Award, he said that this award is a dream, life passes and people are not able to win this award. I am happy that I have been nominated for this award. Since the World Cup, Shami has been out of the team due to injury. For this reason he did not get a place in the Test series against South Africa. He has an ankle injury. For this reason, it seems difficult for him to play in the first two Test matches against England.
Played all three formats for India
Mohammed Shami is counted among the best bowlers of India. He made his debut for India in the year 2013. Since then, he has become an important link in the fast bowling attack of Team India. He has taken 229 wickets in 64 Test matches, 195 wickets in 101 ODI matches and 24 wickets in 23 T20 matches for India.
