New Delhi. There has been news of an attack on the Indian Consulate in San Francisco, USA. According to the local media report on the matter, the incident took place from 1.30 to 2.30 on Sunday morning, when some Khalistani supporters allegedly attacked the embassy and set it on fire. Be aware that this is the second such incident in the last 5 months when the Indian Embassy has been targeted by Khalistani supporters. The US State Department has strongly condemned this act of violence.
At the same time, according to a report in local media ‘Diya TV’, the United States has strongly condemned the incident. The fire at the embassy was brought under control by the San Francisco Fire Department before it could take a serious form. According to reports on the matter, the embassy has not suffered much damage due to the fire and no staff has been injured here. It is also being said that alleged Khalistani supporters have also released a video regarding the incident. However, ‘Navbharat’ does not confirm the veracity of this video.

In this video shared by Khalistani supporters, it is claimed that they attacked the embassy in protest against the gunning down of the group’s Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada. Nijjar was shot dead by two unidentified gunmen in Surrey, Canada. Late Nijjar was also associated with Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) and used to be the President of Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara in Canada.

The poster has accused him of playing a role in Nijjar’s murder.

There was an attack in March as well
