‘Clear message for Rishi Sunak…’ For the first time in 40 years, the party is in bad condition, will the PM’s chair go?

London. After the poor performance of the ‘Conservative Party’ in the local elections and an important by-election in Britain, the leadership of British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has come under immense pressure. It is being said that this is the worst election result for the party in the last 40 years. There is a possibility that the rebel leaders within the party will intensify their attacks on British-Indian leader Sunak in order to ensure better results for the opposition Labor Party in the elections.

The Labor Party won the by-election in the Blackpool South parliamentary seat. These by-elections were held after the resignation of Conservative Party member Scott Lloyd Benton. Labor Party leader Sir Keir Starmer said: ‘Blackpool reflects the voice of the whole country… This is a contest in which voters have the opportunity to send a direct message to Rishi Sunak’s Conservative Party, and that message is for change. It was given by voting in large numbers.

He said, ‘The message to Rishi Sunak is clear. This is the time of change, this is the time of general elections. Labor candidate Chris Webb defeated the Conservative Party’s David Jones in Blackpool South. About 26 percent of the votes of the Conservative Party went in support of the Labor Party. Professor John Curtice, known for his election polling, told the BBC that this is one of the worst performances of the Conservative Party in local elections in the last 40 years.

Along with this by-election, local elections were also held in England and Wales. Election results are expected over the weekend and the picture will be clear by Sunday, but according to early indications, the Labor Party has performed well in many local elections in the area. Most of the results of the election for the post of Mayor are expected over the weekend. London Mayor and Labor Party leader Sadiq Khan is hoping to be re-elected for a third term. He faces the challenge of British Indian businessman Tarun Gulati.
