Hyderabad student attacked in Chicago: There has been a fatal attack on a student of Indian origin in Chicago, America. The attack was carried out by some armed people. During this, they threatened the student and also snatched his phone and purse. The victim’s family has requested the Government of India to take cognizance of this matter and expressed hope that the student will get proper medical treatment.
Students pursuing master’s degrees at Indiana Wesleyan University:
The name of the victim student is said to be Syed Mazahir Ali. Ali is a resident of Hyderabad. He is studying to obtain a master’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in Chicago. According to ABC7 Chicago report, on February 4, he was attacked by armed robbers near his apartment in West Ridge.

After the attack, a video of Syed Mazahir Ali is going viral very fast on social media. In this video, he can be heard saying that when he was going home, 4 people attacked him badly.
Ali told that this accident happened to him when he was returning home with food. During this, 4 people surrounded him and started beating him with kicks and punches. The attackers also snatched his phone and ran away. He has requested for help.
In the viral video, Ali can be seen soaked in blood. He was badly injured at many places. In another video the attackers are seen chasing Ali. Because when he was killing Ali, he was running here and there to save his life.
According to media reports, the attackers were very dangerous. He punched Ali several times in the eyes and also hit him on the face with his feet. Not only this, he also punched Ali a lot on his ribs and back.
Wife and children worried
After this horrific incident with Ali, his wife and children in India are very upset. Ali has 3 children. After the incident, his wife has contacted Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and requested him to go to America.
The Indian Consulate in Chicago said on Tuesday that it is in touch with Ali’s wife and has assured her of all possible assistance in this matter.
