A person has been arrested for setting fire outside the office of MP Bernie Sanders in Burlington, Vermont in the US. On Friday, Shante Soghomonian, 35, entered the building in downtown Burlington and headed to Sanders’ office on the third floor. He was seen in the CCTV camera sprinkling some substance near the door and setting it on fire.
Soghomonium went out through the stairs, spraying the element on several floors. During this time many people were present in the office, but no casualty has been reported. However, the doors of the office were damaged due to the fire. It was not immediately clear whether Soghomonyan had a lawyer.
