Nobel Award Winner Physicist Peter Higgs Died At Age Of 94 Discover God Particle – Amar Ujala Hindi News Live

Nobel Prize-winning scientist Peter Higgs has died at the age of 94. He is best known for the discovery of the God particle, which helped explain how the universe was created after the Big Bang. They jointly received the Nobel Prize in Physics for the Higgs-Boson theory. The Scottish University confirmed the death, saying that he died at home on Monday, April 8 due to a minor illness. Let us tell you, Higgs has worked as a professor in Scottish University for almost 50 years.
The Scottish University further said that he was a great teacher. They inspire generations of young scientists. His family requests that the media and public respect their privacy for now. Peter Mathieson, vice-chancellor of the University of Edinburgh, said Higgs was a remarkable man. He was a truly brilliant scientist. His vision and imagination have enriched our knowledge of the world. Thousands of scientists are inspired by his works. The coming generations will continue to carry forward his legacy.

Will be remembered for God Particle

After the Big Bang, the universe gradually started cooling down. During that time suddenly the Higgs field came into existence. As if nature had pulled a lever of some big mechanism, due to which the Higgs field started working in our universe. After the arrival of Higgs field, some massless particles i.e. moving at the speed of light started interacting with this field. Due to this interaction they started gaining mass. Whereas some particles like photons were still not interacting with the Higgs field. He was still a bundle of energy.

Matter began to form in the universe on a large scale through interactions with the Higgs field. Later, planets, stars, nebulae etc. were formed from these substances. If the Higgs field had not come into existence at that time, then no particle in this world would have mass. Due to lack of weight they would all be moving at the speed of light. In such a situation, neither matter would be created nor would there be stars or galaxies. It can be said that the Higgs field has a big role in our existence today.
