New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday gave his first reaction to America’s allegations. PM Modi said that if anyone gives us any information, we will definitely look into it. If any of our citizens has done anything good or bad then we are ready to look into it. Our commitment is to the rule of law. On the other hand, while giving a blunt reply on the Canada issue, PM Modi said that a game of violence is being played under the guise of freedom of expression.
PM Modi’s reaction to America’s allegations
Responding to US allegations of a plot to kill Khalistani leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, PM Modi said India was deeply concerned about the activities of some extremist groups based abroad. In a special interview with the Financial Times, Prime Minister Modi said that under the guise of freedom of expression, these elements are engaged in intimidation and inciting violence. However, he denied that the allegations would lead to a diplomatic flare-up like the one in Canada.
