Prime Minister Modi said that with the leadership and valuable experience of PM Oli, the extensive cooperation between the two countries will move in a positive direction for the benefit of the people. He said that Nepal remains a special and priority partner under India’s Neighborhood First policy. Oli was sworn in as the 45th Prime Minister of Nepal on July 15. This is his fourth term. The new government led by Oli faces the difficult challenge of providing political stability in the country. According to PM Oli’s secretariat, the Indian Prime Minister said that his government is committed to remain Nepal’s steadfast partner in achieving its economic prosperity and development priorities by strengthening our mutually beneficial partnership and exploring new opportunities for cooperation. The centuries-old shared culture, civilization and open borders between the two countries have led to strong ties between the citizens of the two countries.
