The high-level discussion of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly will begin from September 24. According to the list of speakers released by the United Nations on Monday, the Indian head of state will address on September 26. The general discussion will last for so many days

The general discussion will start on 24th September and continue till 30th September. According to the list, the President of Brazil will be the first speaker. The US is traditionally the second speaker on the first day of the general debate and President Joe Biden is expected to deliver his final address in office. At the same time, United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres will present his report before the start of the debate, after which the President of the 79th session of the General Assembly will address the assembly.

Summit for Future conference will also be organized

Guterres is also hosting an ambitious Summit for the Future at UN Headquarters this week, with days of action on 20-21 September and a summit on 22-23 September. World leaders will gather at the United Nations to adopt a future-looking agreement, including a Global Digital Pact and a Declaration on Future Generations.
