Shahbaz Sharif Formed A Committee To Find Solutions To The Problems Of Pok

There is a lot of conflict going on these days in Pakistan occupied Kashmir. The Pakistani Prime Minister is worried about this. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has constituted a committee to find a solution to the problems of the people of PoK. It is noteworthy that on Thursday, Shahbaz had gone to Muzaffarabad on a one-day visit. People presented their demands before him. However, during this time some miscreants tried to spread riots and commit murders.

According to media reports, Sharif addressed a special meeting of the cabinet of the PoK government on Thursday. During this, he ordered the formation of a committee to discuss issues like water charges and Neelum-Jhelum hydropower plant. Four people, including a police constable, were killed in PoK during clashes between security forces and people protesting against high prices of flour and rising electricity bills and taxes. Many people are injured in the attack.

Shahbaz expressed grief over the killing of a police officer and civilians during the protests. He said his government would support their families. After the visit of the IMF team, the minister and the power secretary will talk to Kashmiri authorities to find a permanent solution to the issues. Pakistan will continue to extend its moral and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people.

Appeal to the Government of India – raise the issue in the UN

PoK political activist Amjad Ayub Mirza recently appealed to the Indian government to summon Pakistan’s ambassador and seek an explanation. Mirza issued a video statement on Monday. In the video, he said that this morning around five lakh people were protesting against the cut in taxes, subsidies on electricity bills in Muzaffarabad and surrounding cities. Their demand was that the government should abolish the allowances and privileges of the Prime Minister and the President. Mirza has appealed for global support. He requested the Indian Government to raise the issue of PoK in the United Nations. He also said that the Indian Foreign Ministry should summon Pakistan’s Ambassador and seek answers from him on the violence taking place in PoK. Mirza claimed that murders are taking place in broad daylight in PoK. Our lives are in danger.
