Uk Opposition Condemns Tory Candidate’s Kashmir Appeal To Voters

Britain’s opposition Labor Party has condemned Marco Longhi, a Conservative Party candidate. Marco Longhi had appealed to the voters to vote for him instead of the British Indian Labor Party candidate. So that the issue of Kashmir can be raised in the British Parliament.

The official campaign letter released by Marco Longhi, the Tory candidate from Dudley in the West Midlands region of England, is much discussed on social media. Marco extended best wishes to the Muslim community on the occasion of Bakrid. Also, regarding the election of Prime Minister Modi for the third term in India, he warned the voters to choose me instead of Sonia Kumar of Labor Party.

The letter, addressed to voters of the British Pakistani/Kashmiri community in Dudley, said: “Modi’s BJP government has recently been re-elected in India. This means even more difficult times for the people of Kashmir in the coming months. will be.”

‘I speak against the atrocities of the Indian government’

Longhi further wrote in the letter, “Narendra Modi recently made it clear that he is going to give full statehood to Kashmir, which will mean the rights of Kashmiris and their special status will be completely removed. I look forward to seeing you in 2019. “I was elected as an MP and since then I have been at the forefront in speaking against the atrocities of the Indian government towards the people of Kashmir.”

Marco Longhi appealed for his candidacy in the UK general election on 4 July, saying, “Who will speak for the Kashmir Parliament? Me, or the Labor Party parliamentary candidate Sonia Kumar?”

Labor Party criticized Longhi

Labor Indian Overseas Organization and fellow British Indian candidate Rajesh Aggarwal fiercely attacked Longhi for seeking votes in the name of Kashmir. Agarwal tweeted on social media, “Labor Indians I condemn Marco Longhi’s deeply divisive strategy of dividing and governing communities in Dudley for political gain. Agarwal has also appealed to Prime Minister Rishi Sunak That his party should withdraw support from Longhi.

Rajesh Aggarwal further wrote, “It is also extremely disappointing to see that an Indian-origin leader of the Conservative Party has allowed anti-India racism to spread in his party… We expect Longhi’s immediate dismissal.”
