The US State Department has said that we are waiting for India’s investigation into the alleged conspiracy to murder Gurpatwant Singh Pannu. In fact, the alleged conspiracy to murder Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu is also being investigated by India. Recently, media reports in America claimed that an officer of India’s intelligence agency RAW was involved in the murder of the separatist leader. However, India’s Foreign Ministry rejected this report.

US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller spoke to the media on Monday. During this, Matthew Miller was asked about India’s investigation into the alleged conspiracy to murder Gurpatwant Singh Pannu. On this, Miller said that ‘They (Government of India) have formed a committee to investigate this matter and investigation is going on in this matter. We are also waiting for the results, but we have made it clear that this is something that we take very seriously and we think they should take it seriously too.

America had claimed last year that they had foiled a plot to assassinate an American citizen. Indian citizen Nikhil Gupta was accused of allegedly conspiring in this murder. Nikhil Gupta was arrested in Czech Republic and America is trying to extradite Nikhil Gupta to America. America claimed that the American citizen whose murder was conspired to be Gurpatwant Singh Pannu. Pannu is an American Canadian citizen and Khalistani leader. Pannu is declared a terrorist in India and is wanted in several cases.
