Pakistan Army: Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed deep concern over the “baseless” allegations against the army by a political party and some of its members for political gains.

Army Chief General Asim Munir met the new President Zardari on Wednesday, when Zardari made this indirect attack on the Tehreek-e-Insaf party led by former Prime Minister Imran Khan. During the meeting, the army chief congratulated Zardari for becoming the 14th President of Pakistan last month.
