What is America’s stance on CAA?
The US had said on Thursday (March 14) that it is aware of the CAA being notified in India and is closely monitoring the implementation of the law.
US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller, in response to a question asked by the media regarding the CAA, had said, “We are closely monitoring how this Act will be implemented.” Respect for religious freedom and equal treatment under the law for all communities are fundamental democratic principles.
